Not all babies prefer having their arms inside a swaddle for sleep - some like the comfort of having their hands near their face. That's where the Butterfly Cardi Swaddle comes in. When worn over the Cocoon Swaddle Bag, the Butterfly Cardi allows your baby to sleep in a hands-up swaddled position by enclosing their hands in the Butterfly's 'wings'. Additionally, the Butterfly Cardi can be used as a transition aid for when your baby is ready to move from arms-in swaddling to arms-out sleeping when they show signs of rolling, usually around the 8-12 week mark but up to 6 months. Simply wear it over your baby's swaddle and progress through hands up to arms out over the course of a week, to help them adjust to the change.
